Hello, welcome to cuttlebone studio, an online bank of creative assets conceptualized and produced by Dani Gorgon.
Dani currently lives in Dubai with his wife Jennifer and son Darryl. For survival, he works as Marketing Coordinator at a leading marine technologies and system integration company in UAE. For pure passion, he does photography, pixel & analog experimentation, and travel. His free time is equally distributed between his family and hobbies. To ventilate stress, he listens to Blues, Acid rock and New waves.
He was born in Sakthikulangara, an old fishing village that is located between Arabian Sea and Ashtamudi Lake in Kerala, India. He loves his place, people and the local culture. He goes out for rowing the boat between islands in the backwater when he needs adrenaline rush.
He does photography using Nikon D90 and a couple of pro glass made by Sigma, Tokina and Nikkor. A year ago he borrowed a Nikon FM10 camera from one of his colleagues and he immediately fell in love with film photography.
Yet to find out a reason to return it! He returned it to it’s owner in one piece since he has acquired a replacement film body. Yes, he has upgraded to a Mamiya RZ Pro II to make him for #FilmIsNotDead.
